The player game play style
Different style of the player, different also the suitable racket. generally a badminton player divided into 3 style. They are defender, attacker, and both. They should use the appropriate racket to be able to play better.
  1. Defender. A defender need a light heavy racket. It is because he need to move and swing the racket to break and lob, drop shot, or smash. the suitable racket for this badminton player is 4U and 3U which is not too heavy. The grip is 270-285 and the rackets flexibility is medium or flexible. Example for this kind of racket is Yonex type NS9000S, AT9000T, At700, MP21/MP18.Attacker.
  2. An attacker needs a heavier racket to boost his smash power. The kind is 3U or 2U with grip 285-300. The flexibility is stiff or extra stiff. Example Yonex type AT900P, MP99, Carnonex21.
  3. Both/attacker and defender. For both style the racket which can be use is 3U with grip 275-285 and medium flexibility. Example for medium style racket is Ti-10, NS7700, NS5000, AT300, AT150, MP45, MP29LIGHT, CARBONEX(8600Ti and 7000DF)

Maria Kristin Blowed Istora

Maria Kristin showed a very beautiful game in the Indonesia Open 2008. She reached the final successfully and faced one of the best China women single, Zhu Lin. In the court, since the beginning Maria Kristin who was not expected could reached the final show her best performance. She returned every shuttlecock from her enemy and then make her got winning. She could to that although her enemies are China badminton athletes which are known are the best badminton women athletes at present.

After defeating her teammates, Pia Zebadiah Bernadet, in the first round, Kristin beated yao Jie, Chinese badminton athlete who played for Netherland. In the quarter final she got the Zhou Mi from Hongkong, while a big surprise was done when she defeated the second single of China, Zhang Ning.

In the final when facing Zhu Lin, Maria show excelent gameplay. She able to force the champion of Indonesia Open 2006 to play rubber game 18-21, 21-17, and 14-21. Although she didn't able to defeat Zhu Lin. The game was long and strech for 1 hour and 18 minutes. The game take both of the players power. Because of too tired, Zhu Lin even got a yellow card because of taking too much time to take a rest.

Zhu Lin seemed frustating with the gameplay of Maria Kristin. She played without expression and spirit. Kristin return most of the shuttlecock with strong defend. She also tried to spend her enemy's power by giving lobs, drop shots, and smashes. Her enemy who want to end the game as soon as possible tend to make many mistakes. Although she got lost in the end.

Maria Kristin got big support from the Istora audience who most are indonesian. Although she loose, the audience are not dissappointed. They satisfied with her performance and seemd to get the Susi Susanti back.

Sony Dwi Kuncoro Won Indonesia Open 2008

Finally Sony Dwi Kuncoro Able to win Indonesia Open 2008 for single. He has waited this for a long time. This is his first winning for Indonesia Open.”I am really happy because i have been waiting for so long. Finally I get it now,” Sony said.

Sony Got the title after beat his friend Simon Santoso. The game was really attractive in the first game. Simon could give big pressure to Simon and Simon could get the first game with 19-21. But in the second game, Sony Dwi Kuncoro showed his real gameplay. Sony can beat Simon by 21-14 and continued with the rubber set with 21-9.

Sony hoped the winning will be followed by the winning in the Beijing olimpiade 2008 in China. She realized that his game play is getting better and he optimist that he can get his target.

Boonsak Ponsana Profile

Boonsak Ponsana is a men badminton single athlete from Thailand. He was born on 22 February 1982 in Bangkok, Thailand. His nick name is "Man" or "Superman". His highest rank is in rank 7, and now his rank is decrease to 14.

Boonsak Ponsana is one of the famous Thailand badminton athletes. He has been regarded as the best badminton player in thailand. At a young age Boonsak Ponsana has beaten many top badminton athletes such as Kenneth Jonassen, Taufik Hidayat, and Lee Hyun Il. Overall title he got until now is gold medals in Singapore Super Series 2007 and Indian Open Grandprix 2008.

Boonsak Ponsana is graduated from a law department of Sri Patum university in Bangkok. besides playing badminton, he loves to play soccer too. His other hobbies are clubbing and watch movies.
