Zhu Lin Profile

Zhu Lin is a women's single badminton player from China. She was born on April 30, 1984 in Shanghai China. Zhu Lin started the national team of China in 2004. Now she is in the 3rd of BWF world rank.

She began to show her talent at the women's single of the Malaysia Super Series n 2007. She beaten Whang Chen of Hongkong in the final with score
21-8 and 21-12. Whang Chen have beaten Xie Xingfang in the semi-final. Zhu was not even expected to win the final because her opponent was Wang Chen, who defeated her in their previous four meetings. And that was her first winning from Wang Chen.

Zhu Lin won the Indonesia Open and the Thailand Open in 2006, finishing that year ranked sixth in the BWF World Rankings. In 2006, she was the runner-up at the Swiss Open and South Korea Open and was part of a team title winner at the Doha Asian Games. Zhu won women’s singles title at the 2002 Asian Junior Championships. She won team title at the 2000 World Junior Championships.

Zhu Lin's aunt was a badminton coach. She taught her to play badminton since she was eight. Zhu leaved her parrents at 14 to live on her own. She moved from Shanghai to Anhui and then she moved again to Beijing and became the provincial team and later the national team.
